First, you'll want to set the expectation with your moderators according to the details in the below section Moderation. Let them know soon they will
be moderating from FastComments, and not the WordPress dashboard.
Next, install the plugin. You can do this by going to the WordPress plugins dashboard, clicking Add Plugin, and search for FastComments. The plugin is also available for download 這裡.
The plugin setup will ask you if you are in the EU. If this is the case, your account will reside in the EU on eu.fastcomments.com, otherwise it will be on fastcomments.com.
Next, you have the option of selecting whether you already have a FastComments account. Follow the steps thereafter and your comments can optionally be uploaded during the installation process.

Comments are uploaded in batches, and sorted using existing indexes in your WordPress database to limit load on your site.

SSO 可透過前往外掛面板並點選「SSO Settings」來啟用。

同步回 WordPress
預設情況下，FastComments 每天會將資料同步回您的 WordPress 網站。這純粹是備份用途，讓您持續擁有資料的一份副本，以及支援可能依賴該資料的外掛。
由於某些網站可處理大量讀取流量，但其資料庫部署並不總是能承受大量寫入流量（因此將這項工作卸載給 FastComments），因此並不會在每則評論儲存時立即同步。
可以透過安裝外掛自訂回寫到 WordPress 的同步排程。我們建議使用 WP Crontrol。
Steps:
- Install WP Crontrol
- Go to
Settings -> Cron Schedules. - Go to the
Cron Eventstab. - Search for
fastcomments_cron_hook. - Edit the event. 您可以設定該 hook 每小時、一天兩次、每日（預設），或每週執行一次。
The sync back to WordPress can also be performed any time manually by going to the FastComments plugin dashboard and selecting Manually Sync. 您將可以

留言計數

在試用期間，網域會自動新增到您的帳戶，但在您將新網站加入 FastComments 帳戶時，也可能發生此情況。
停用與解除安裝外掛的差異
停用外掛會從您的 WordPress 安裝中移除您的 token。您的資料會保留在 FastComments 伺服器上，直到您刪除帳戶為止。若您重新啟用外掛，則必須再次執行初始同步。
解除安裝外掛會移除所有與該外掛相關的資料，但您仍然必須刪除您的 FastComments 帳戶，才能刪除儲存在那裡的資料。
